Bear Sighting - Laurentian Escarpment Conservation Area

Oct 12, 2018 - A member of the general public advised the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) this morning that a black bear was sighted at 8:50am on October 12, 2018 on Ski CLub Road, between Bolton and McKee Drive heading towards the Laurentian Escarpment Conservation Area, 15 Janey Ave, North Bay.

If hiking or biking in this area, please be "bearwise".

A sign has been erected at the trailhead and will remain for 72 hours advising of those using the trails of the bear sighting.
