Service Disruption issued May 14, 2018: Eau Claire Gorge Conservation Area is now open for the season. When walking the the main (white) trail, use the orange trail as a detour between trail interpretative site 9 and 10 as a safety precaution as the white trail is extremely icy in this area
NBMCA is now on summer hours - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) was founded in 1972 by the Province of Ontario and the NBMCA’s 10 member municipalities. As a community-based, non-profit environmental organization, the NBMCA is dedicated to conserving, restoring, developing and managing renewable natural resources on a watershed basis. The NBMCA is one of 36 Conservation Authorities who are members of Conservation Ontario.
