Winter Survival Skills
  
Grades 4 to 8 / Winter / Full Day (Half Day by request)
Students will learn basic winter survival skills and how to build a quinzhee snow shelter.

Inuit and Co-operative Games 
Grades 4 to 8 / Winter / Half Day
This program includes traditional Inuit games of strength and agility. The other activities promote co-operation, leadership, trust, verbal/non verbal communication, initiative, creativity, problem solving and team skills.

Snow Profiles  
Grades 4 to 6 / Winter / Half Day
The properties of snow are examined through hands-on activities and experiment. Snow profiles are conducted with air/snow temperature comparisons, snowflake structure, and the examination of snow's insulation.
