Edible and Medicinal Plant Hike  
Grades 1 to 12 / Spring-Fall / 90 min
During the hike, students will learn the traditional medicinal properties of local vegetation which were a major part of the native peoples and early settlers diets.  

Focus on Forests 
Grades 3 to 8 / Spring-Fall / Half Day
Trees are a valuable resource. Students will look at the different parts of a tree, learn how to age a tree, learn how to identify trees through their physical characteristics. Activities will vary to suit the group level and focus of your study.

Spring Wonders  
Grades 1 to 12 / Spring / 90 min
This spring hike looks at wildflower and tree identification. Students will investigate the various wildlife habitats as hibernators emerge, migrants return and plants begin another cycle of growth.

Blowin' in the Wind  
Grades JK to 2 / Fall-Winter / 60 min
Seeds are most visible in the fall and winter. Discover how seeds are formed and then dispersed by plants of all kinds

Forest Ecology Hike  
Grades 4 to 6 / Spring-Fall / 90 min
Students look at the different components of forest ecology on a hike and are introduced to several different forest habitats and communities.  Through their field activities, students draw conclusions concerning these different areas.
