Special Events
The North Bay - Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) hosts a variety of exciting events throughout the year. The NBMCA Awards recognize environmental excellence in the community, while Community Events include Pitch-In Canada, Earth Week, the Valentine's Night Candlelight Hike, Snowshoe Trails & Wagging Tails Dog Walk, and many more. In addition, the NBMCA's annual Mattawa River Canoe Race attracts paddling enthusiasts from across North America.
